Marjoria A. Spaulding

Marjoria A. Spaulding, age 97, of Borden, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg.  Born September 8, 1928 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Carl Baynes and Bernice (Cook) Baynes.

Marjoria was a retired librarian with the Borden Public Library and was a member of the First Christian Church of Borden.

She is survived by 5 children: Linda Cannon, Paula Hubbard (Tommy), Mary Anna Love (Ed), Teri Morrison (Jeff), and Carla Renn (Bruce); 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Bernice Baynes; husband, Paul E. Spaulding; 1 brother; 2 sisters; son-in-law, David Cannon; and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Borden with Brian Combs and Gabrielle Lane officiating.  Visitation will be held Thursday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
