Lloyd E. Martin

Lloyd Gene Martin of Borden, Indiana died on Thursday May 7, 2009 at 6:39 PM at the Floyd Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. Born on April 12, 1924, he was the son of the late Lloyd M. Martin and Ruth (Temple) Martin. He married Mary (Hardy) Martin on December 24, 1949. She survives. He was a retired Machinist for Precision Automation of Clarksville after 30 plus years of service. He was a Navy Veteran, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Borden. Survivers include 5 Sons; Mike Martin of Pekin, Tim Martin of Borden, Steve Martin of Pekin, Rick Martin of Pekin and Gabe Martin of Pekin. 14 Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Preceded in death by his Parents. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Monday May 11, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Borden. Viewing will be from 2-8 PM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden and after 9 AM Monday until the time of service. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Borden with Full-Military Honors. Bro. Mike Sargent will officiate.
