Leroy J. Morris

Leroy J. Morris, age 85, of Borden, Indiana passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at Meadow View Health & Rehab Center in Salem.  Born October 21, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Shelby and Iva (Hash) Morris.

Leroy was a self-employed general contractor and a member of Free Gospel Fellowship Church in Pekin.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Gloria (Smith) Morris; 5 children: Cindy Morris, Gordon Morris, Donna Yates, Kenneth Morris, and Bev Stout; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Richard Morris; and 1 sister, Shirley Bower.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 13, at 2:00 P.M. at Free Gospel Fellowship Church in Pekin.  Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from noon until time of service.  Burial to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
