Leland B. Mckinley

Leland B. McKinley, age 74, of Borden, passed away Tuesday September 20, 2011 at 12:46 AM in Kindred Transitional Care in Sellersburg, Indiana. Born on July 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph T. McKinley and Bessie Martin McKinley. On June 27, 1958 he married Bettie Waddle McKinley, who survives. He was a Retired Machine Operator with Sunoco Products of New Albany. He was a member of the Borden Church of Christ. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and  a Volunteer Fire Fighter and Treasurer of the Borden Wood Township Fire Dept. Other Survivors include; 2 sons, David McKinley and Mac (Gayle) McKinley both of Salem; 2 daughters, Le Ann (John) McClure of Borden and Lu Ann (Pete) Roth of Floyds Knobs; 1 brother, Daniel McKinley; 2 sisters, Joyce Money and Marilyn Riley; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Proceded in death by; parents, 1 brother and 1 sister. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at the Borden Church of Christ. Viewing will be from 1-8 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday until the funeral service at the church. Brother Scott Reeder will Officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
