Larry Lee Walton

Larry Lee Walton, age 71, of Salem, died September 5, 2020 at Salem Crossing.  Born September 1, 1949, he was the son of the late Everett Walton and Alma (McDermott) Walton.

He was a retired maintenance worker for WSLM Radio with 43 years of service.

Larry is survived by his significant other, Karen Lingross; 1 son: Larry L. Lingross (Jessica); 2 daughters: Victoria Gilbert and Marina (Drew) Silvers; 1 brother: Ray Walton; 2 sisters: Sharon Quinlin and Sheryl Everage; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Borden Chapel with Tom Fultz officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  Cremation to follow with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
