Lance "Bubba" Hattabaugh, age 50, of Pekin, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at his residence. Born May 9, 1976 in Jeffersonville, he was the son of Barry Hattabaugh and Gilda (Barrett) Hattabaugh.
Everyone knew Lance as “Bubba” or “Boss Man.” He enjoyed listening to the Gaither Vocal Band, loved Reese’s, and never missed a chance to watch Paw Patrol.
Lance is survived by his parents, Barry and Gilda, along with one sister, Janet (AJ) Schubert.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home - Pekin Chapel with Ben Woods officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Borden.
