Kevin L. Carr

Kevin Lee Carr, age 55, of Pekin, passed away December 7, 2013 in Floyd Memorial Hospital. Born on July 27, 1958 in English, Indiana, he was the son of Garrel Keith Carr , who survives and Janet Marie (Patton) Carr, she is deceased. On March 18, 2002, he married Laurie (Wilkins) Carr, she survives. He was a Salesman with John Jones GM City of Salem. He was a member of Canton Christian Church and Gideon's. He was an IHSAA Official. Other survivors include: 5 sons, Caleb Melancon, Kevin Lee Carr II, Jeffrey S. Geel, Matthew A. Geel, and Joshua Melancon; 4 daughters, Crystal Hickey, Amanda Woodard, Morgan Leah Carr, and Jessica M. Hampton; 2 sisters, Karla Wilkes and Kimberly Bean; 9 grandchildren with 1 on the way. Preceded in death by: mother, 1 brother, Keith Garrel Carr. The funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 9 AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Crawford County. Brother Van Vuyovich will officiate.
