Kay C. Lewis

Kay C. Lewis age 84 of Campbellsburg, Indiana passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 at 3:10 AM at the Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany Indiana. Born on July 1, 1925 in Shepherdsville Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Carey and Matilda (Murphy) Carey. On October 1, 1942 she married Robert Lee Lewis, who precedes her in death. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Campbellsburg Christian Church. She was also a member of the Post Masters Auxillary, American Legion Auxillary, Grace Rebekah Lodge #856 and the Helping Hand Club of Vernon Township. Survivors include 1 Daughter, Anita (Mark) Lee of Salem; 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild. She was preceded in death by Husband, 1 Daughter Sue Ann Beard, 7 Brothers and 1 Sister. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Campbellsburg Christian Church. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Sunday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem, and after 1:00 PM Monday at the church. Burial will be at Claysville Cemetery.
