Joyce Mae (Warner) Shopher

Joyce Mae Shopher, age 71, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on October 22, 2017 at the Diversicare Providence Retirement Home in New Albany. Born on December 29, 1945 in PeeWee Valley, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Warner and Eunice Jaggers Warner. Joyce was a homemaker. Survivors include 3 sons, Michael Shopher, Alvin Shopher, & Billy Warner; 6 daughters, Judy Cornett, Kay Balentine, Patty Kelley, Chrystal Whitson, Loretta Shopher, & Victoria Shopher; 2 sisters, Rowena Warner & Ellen Thomas; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Bernard Shopher; daughter, Pamela Stone; brother, Charles Warner. The funeral service will be Thursday at 8:00 PM at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem.
