Joyce A. Floyd

Joyce A. Floyd, age 85, of Pekin, Indiana passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at her residence.  Born August 22, 1936 in Borden, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Cleon (Fordyce) Tempel.

Joyce was retired from the Borden Cabinet Factory with 42 years of service; she was a member of the Pekin Church of Christ.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Cleon Tempel, and her husband, Wilbur Floyd.

She is survived by 1 brother, Jim Tempel (Barbara); 3 nieces; 2 great nephews; 1 great great nephew; and 1 great great niece.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Pekin Chapel with Jeremy Goen officiating.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 25, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday, August 26, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  Burial to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
