Joshua Clayton Freeman, age 30, of Salem, passed away on October 14, 2015 at St. Vincent's Salem Hospital. He was born on August 16, 1985 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Josh was a 911 Dispatch Operator for Clark County. He was a Reserve Officer for the Salem Police Department. He was a former High School Wrestling Coach at Salem.
Survivors include: wife, Jamie (Fields) Freeman; parents, Samuel Clayton and Patricia Ann Freeman; 2 brothers, Jonathan Michael Freeman and Jacob Edward (Kaci) Freeman; grandfather, Ernest Motsinger; 3 aunts, Debbie Edwards, Larita (Greg) Sember, and Beverly Bonita Freeman.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Sam and Jewel Freeman, and Myreta Motsinger.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Friday and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery. Brother Jimmy Clemmer will officiate.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
