Jo Ann (Merry) Durham

Jo Ann Durham, age 57, of Salem, passed away Thursday Sept. 8, 2011. Born on April 30,1954, she was the daughter of the late Bob Merry and Marilyn (Stacey) Merry. On June 23, 1972 she married Terry Durham, who survives. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother and Mamaw. She was a Homemaker and a former employee of the Rainbow's End and Bradie Shrum Elementary School, both of Salem. She was a member of the New Beginning Baptist Church of Salem, and she attended First Southern Baptist of Scottsburg. Other survivors include; 1 son, Scott (Lacey) Durham of Salem; 1 daughter, Angela (Treavor) Phipps of Salem; 1 brother, Bobby Merry of Scottsburg; 3 grandchildren, Devon Hopper, Zane Phipps and Madalyn Durham all of Salem. Proceded in death by Parents, 1 Brother Mark Merry. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Sunday and after 9 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Brother Danny Jackson will officiate.
