Jimmie R Tullis

Jimmie R. Tullis, age 77, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on September 10, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born on September, 28, 1940 in Waco, Texas, he was the son of the late James Wesley Tullis and Mary Nell (Hawes) Tullis. Jimmie was an Army Veteran with 19 years of service, he was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a retired salesman with Henkel Corporation. He was a member of the Salem Masonic Lodge #21. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Charlene (McKillip) Tullis of Salem; 3 sons, Aaron Tullis (Shannon) of Salem, Joshua Tullis of Salem, and Nathan Tullis of Salem; brother, Steven Tullis (Alice) of Tennessee; sister, Rhonda Russell (Charles) of Colorado; 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Tullis. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem.
