Jeri Lynn Vance

Jeri Lynn Vance, age 62, of Salem passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.  Born September 24, 1958 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late William Chester Dowell and Nancy C. (Medlock) Dowell who survives.  On January 27, 2004, she married Carl "Corky" Vance who survives.

She was a member of the Blue River Friends Church, American Legion Post 41, VFW Post 6636, and Salem Moose Lodge 2380.

Jeri is survived by her husband, Carl; mother, Nancy; 1 step-daughter: Shawna (Vance) Henry; 1 brother: Keith Swann; 2 sisters: Tina Lee Dowell and Teresa Grannokis; 1 sister-in-law: Gloria Dowell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and 1 brother: Bruce Dowell.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Blue River Friends Cemetery.

Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
