Janice C. Holt

Janice C. Holt, age 84, of Salem, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital.  Born October 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Alan Coffey and Olive (Radcliff) Coffey.

Janice was formerly a receptionist for Dr. Richard Grassmyer, DDS.

She is survived by 1 son: Mike Holt; 2 sisters: Judy Smith and Marquita Atkins; 2 grandchildren: Jeremy McCutcheon and Rusty Holt; and 4 great grandchildren: Macie Jo Odum, Gunnar R. Odum, Gavin M. Odum, and Bracie L. Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Olive Coffey; husband, Granvle R. Holt; son, Jim Holt; and granddaughter, Jessica McCutcheon.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel followed by a graveside service at Crown Hill Cemetery with Bro. George Browning officiating.
