James David Stuart

James David Stuart, age 47, formerly of Salem, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington.  Born November 12, 1974, he was the son of the late David William Stuart and Leanna Sue Barnes who survives.

James was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Linton, Indiana and was formerly employed at McDonald's of Salem.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Stuart.

He is survived by his mother, Leanna Barnes, and step-father, Patrick Barnes; sister, Zara Pelfree; and step-brother, Bryan Barnes.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Bro. Rodney Sweeney officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  Burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
