James C. Risk, age 80, of Salem passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Meadow View Health & Rehab Center. He was born January 31, 1942 in Kentucky. On June 6, 1974, he married Patricia (Bryan) Risk who preceded him in death.
James was a retired security guard for French Lick Casino and was an avid fan of the Salem Lions and Indiana University athletics.
He is survived by his children: Bryan Risk (Natalie) and Brandy Levi; and 4 grandchildren: Nicholas Cole, Kaden Levi, Ansley Levi, and Sophie Risk.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel; visitation will be Thursday, March 10, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
