James "Tim" Nix

James “Tim” Nix, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.  Born April 8, 1943, he was the son of the late Willie and Nora Nix.

Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He loved shooting, playing pool, and he lived & breathed for his Dallas Cowboys.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Lisa Bozeman; life partner, Sylvia Wilson; brother, W. C. Nix; and grandchild, Brendan Rooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Nora Nix; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Cremation was chosen; Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
