James Franklin Cole

James Franklin Cole, age 71, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on July 27, 2019 at his residence. Born on December 1, 1947, he was the son of the late Eli Cole and Lillian Marie (Wheat) Cole.

James was retired from GKN with over 41 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Carol (Bartron) Cole; daughter, Lori Hollen; 2 sons, James Aaron Cole and Robert Clayton Cole; 2 brothers, Tommy Cole and Alfred Ray Cole; sister, Linda Dotson; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Cole; daughter, Kelli Cole; 7 brothers and 1 sister.

The graveside service will be Wednesday at 1:30 PM at the Cole Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-1 PM at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Russ Amburn will officiate.
