Jim T. Abrams Sr

James "Jim" T. Abrams Sr., age 74 of Pekin, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, at his residence. Born on November 26, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Andrew Abrams and Charlene (Hurt) Quinn.

Jim is survived by his three children: James T. Abrams Jr. (Stephanie), Jason Abrams, and Angel R. Hart (Oliver); three brothers: Larry Abrams, Sonny Abrams, and Darrell Abrams; along with four grandchildren: Michelle Hammack, Kyle Abrams, Lillian R. Abrams, and Jack P. Hart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Patricia Sue Abrams; one sister; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Pekin. Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
