H.L. Johnson

H.L. Johnson, age 85, of Campbellsburg Indiana, passed away Thursday March 12, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital. Born on November 28, 1934 in London Kentucky, he was the son of the late William Eli Johnson and Mary (Lewis) Johnson.

H.L. was an Army Veteran, life long member of the NRA, and a retired Union Laborer Local 795.

Survivors include 2 sons, Rodney M. Johnson, and Robin M. Johnson both of Campbellsburg; 2 brothers, Wayne Johnson and James Johnson both of Campbellsburg; 2 grandchildren, Hunter L. Johnson and Gage M. Johnson.

Preceded in death by his parents; 8 brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday March 16, 2020 at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Visitaion will be 4-8 PM Sunday, and Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Brother Bronnie Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Saltillo Cemetery with full military rites.
