Harry Vanlaningham

Harry Vanlaningham, age 88, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on February 27, 2018 at the Salem Crossing nursing home. Born on December 6, 1929 in Hardinsburg, he was the son of the late Roy Ray Vanlaningham & Cora (Mills) Vanlaningham. Harry was an Army Veteran, he was awarded the Bronze Service Star in the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed  auto body repairman. He was a member of the Enon Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Roy L. Vanlaningham & wife Melissa; 2 daughters, Deborah S. Lewis, & Brenda L. Brown & husband Steven; 8 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn (Moore) Vanlaningham; son, Richard "Rick" Vanlaningham; daughter, Teresa L. Vanlaningham. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
