Harry L. Black

Harry L. Black, age 80, of Salem, Indiana, passed away Saturday February 8, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. Born on February 20, 1939 in Terre Haute, Indiana, he was the son of the late Orman And Evelyn Black.

Harry served in the Air Force National Guard and United States Marine Corps, he was retired from Auto Zone in Salem, and he was a Deacon at First Christian Church in Salem.

Survivors include his wife, Leatha (Albertson) Black; 5 sons, Harry Ross Black, Ronald William Curtsinger, Jerry Wayne Curtsinger, Bobby Dee Curtsinger, and David Curtsinger; 1 brother and 3 sisters; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Thursday 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison Indiana. Bob Hamilton will officiate.
