Hack Brewer

Arthur Hack Brewer, age 61, of Salem, died November 26, 2012. Born on July 2, 1951 in Olinger, Virginia, he was the son of the late WD Brewer and Charlene (Daulton) Brewer. On August 27, 1971, he married Teresa Darlene (Hobbs) Brewer. He was a Truck Driver for OTR. He was a member of the Mt. Eden Christian Church. Survivors include; wife, Teresa Darlene (Hobbs) Brewer; 1 son, Travis Brewer; 1 daughter, Kimberly Brewer Allen; step mother, Barbara Brewer; 6 brothers, James, Doug, Donald, Dee, Hobert, and Vass Brewer; 3 sisters, Marie McDermott, Ruth Mills and Wanda Sue Brown; 3 grandchildren, Gavin Brewer, Chance Allen and Chase Allen. Proceeded in death by both parents. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral in Salem. Viewing will be from 2-8 PM Friday and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Scott County. Brother Bruce Stephenson will officiate.
