Glassie Ordella Fleming Hall, age 83, of Pekin, died October 9, 2012 at her residence. Born on May 7, 1929 in Eddy Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Jefferson Fleming and Bessie Ellen Stewart Fleming. On October 21, 1946, she married Samp Hall, he survives.
She was retired from Smith Cabinet. She was a member of the Eastview Church of Christ in Salem.
Other survivors include; 2 sons, Luther Hall of Pekin and Greg Hall of Pekin; 5 daughters, Linda Pennington of Salem, Diane Norris of Salem, Shanda Thomas of Pekin, Marsha Miller of Pekin, and Barbara Morris of Borden; 2 brothers, Gene Fleming of McRoberts, Kentucky and Willard Fleming of McRoberts, Kentucky; 2 sisters, Mabel Johnson of Jackhorn, Kentucky and Della Hall of Ft. Pierce FLorida; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by; parents, 7 brothers, 1 grandson Mark Hall.
The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm Thursday at the Eastview Church of Christ in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-9 PM Wednesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem, and after 10:00 AM Thursday at the church.
Brother Fred Bishop will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery
