Gene L. Blankenbaker

Gene L. Blankenbaker of Pekin died at his residence on December 30, 2007. Survivors include his wife Katie, 2 Sons Gene & Torin Blankenbaker of Pekin. 3 Daughters Connie Blankenbaker and Amy Naugle both of Salem, and Rowena Meyers of White,Ga. 17 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by one son Dyson, one daughter Melanie, 3 Brothers and 4 Sisters. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Daisy Hill Cemetery.
