Fannie "Peanut" Soliday

Fannie "Peanut" Soliday, age 68, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at her residence. Born November 9, 1954 in Hazard, Kentucky, She was the daughter of the late Henry Kilburn, Sr. and Ethel (Cody) Kilburn.

Fannie was formerly employed with Child Craft Industries; she was a member of the Church of Christ of Pekin.

Survivors include son, Jonathan Kilburn (Sarah Sumner); 3 step-daughters: Shona Connell, Cynthia Bowsman, and Jessica McKinley; brother, Henry Kilburn, Jr.; 2 sisters, Perlie Blevins and Sina Temple; 13 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Kilburn., Sr. and Ethel Kilburn; husband, Wesley Soliday; brother, Nat Kilburn; and step-daughter, Angela Deuser.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
