Everett Wayne Everage, Jr.

Everett Wayne Everage, Jr., age 71, of Salem passed away Monday, October 3, 2022.  Born January 10, 1951 in Pippa Passes, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Everett Everage, Sr. and Lillian Smith.  On July 28, 1979, he married Joy (Mayse) Everage who survives.

He retired from GKN Sinter Metals and was a Marine Corp veteran.

Everett is survived by his wife, Joy Everage; 3 children: Jeff Harges, Christopher Everage, and Rusty Everage; 1 step-daughter: Cassandra Mayse; 1 brother: Ron Everage; and 3 sisters: Christine Voyles, Jenny Everage, and Karen Johnston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Everage, Sr. and Lillian Smith, and a sister, Linda Vanover.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Rich Ramsey officiating.  Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
