Evangeline Ledford

Evangeline Ledford, age 75, of Salem, passed away November 2, 2013 at the Floyd Memorial Hospital. Born on May 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Farmer Ledford and Sophia (Herd) Ledford. She was a Retired LPN. She was a member of the Old Blue River Christian Church. Survivors include: 1 brother, Danny Ledford of Salem; 3 sisters, Alice Voyles of Vallonia, Phyllis Spears of Pennington Gap, Virginia, and Carol Jean Sanders of Salem. Preceded in death by: parents, 1 brother, James F. Ledford. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 9 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Plattsburg Cemetery. Jim Cooper will officiate. www.hughestaylor.net
