Esther Louise (Goldsberry) Brewer

Esther Louise Brewer died December 29, 2014 at the home of her daughter near Coatsville, Indiana. She was a former lifetime resident of Campbellsburg, Indiana. She was born May 20, 1920 in Martin County Indiana to John Francis Sr. and Oakley Mae (Smith) Goldsberry. She was married to Cecil Mustain in 1936. She married John Henry Brewer in 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1994. She is survived by daughters; Wilma Ruth Vines of Alexandria Alabama, Juanita Laverne Hasty of Coatsville Indiana, Judy Marlane  (Ken) Barrett of Charlestown Indiana; sons, James Cecil Brewer of Bedford Indiana, John William (Leanna) Brewer of Bloomington Indiana; 1 sister, Mary Hamilton of Bedford; 17 grandchildren with two that preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by brothers John Jr, Curtis, and James, and sisters Helen Richardson and Catherine Pate. She was retired from the old Washington County Memorial Hospital as a nursing assistant and was a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 11-1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hopp Cemetery in Campbellsburg.
