Edna M (Collier) Emery Harvey

Edna M. Emery Harvey, age 97, of Salem, passed away on July 5, 2015 at the Salem Crossing. Born on March 20, 1918, in Lawrence County Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John Collier and Mary Hamilton Collier. Edna retired from Child Craft after 32 years of service. She was also a Self employed Caregiver. She was a member of the Blue River Baptist Church. Survivors include: 6 children, Mary (Perry) Motsinger of Salem, Pat Eisert of Plainfield, Indiana, Sandy (Ronnie) Morris of Salem, Richard (Marylynn) Emery of Indianapolis, Brenda (Gary) Twaddle of Salem, and Gary (Connie) Emery of Louisville; 2 brothers, Lewis Collier of Plainfield, Indiana, and Frank Collier of New Albany; 2 sisters, Freda Meadors of Salem and Opal Worman of Pekin; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: 2 husbands, Paul S. Emery and Guy Harvey; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 AM Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery. Joe Stalker will officiate. www.hughestaylor.net
