Dorothy Mae Brumett

Dorothy Mae Brumett, age 92, of Salem, Indiana passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at The Waters of Scottsburg.  Born November 18, 1928 in Crothersville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hall Bush and Malinda (Scifres) Bush.  On August 3, 1946, she married Lewis Brumett who preceded her in death.

Dorothy was a housewife and worshiped at Crossroads Baptist Church in Salem.

Dorothy is survived by 1 son, Lewis "Mike" Brumett; 1 sister, Edie Petty; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Brumett; parents, Robert and Malinda Bush; 1 daughter, Bernice Wilder; 1 brother; and 3 sisters.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Winslow Cemetery with Troy Burns officiating.
