Doris L. (Jackson) Terrell

Doris L. Terrell, age 90, of Pekin, passed away on Tuesday June 3, 2014 at the Meadowview Health & Rehab Center in Salem. Born on May 6, 1924 in Borden, Indiana, she was the daughter of Farris Jackson and Nola (Blankenbaker) Jackson. She was retired from BF Goodrich with 23 years of service. She was a member of the Pekin United Methodist Church. Survivors include: 1 son, Ronnie (Wanda L.) Terrell of Pekin; 2 grandsons, 6 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Cleo B. Terrell, 1 son Dale Terrell, 10 brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Swayback Cemetery. Merrill Bright will officiate. www.hughestaylor.net
