Derek Medlock

Derek Medlock, age 47, formerly of Salem, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 at Waters of Indianapolis. Born December 1, 1978 in Salem, he was the son of Darrell Medlock and the late Pauletta (Roll) Medlock.
Derek is survived by his father, along with a half-brother and sister.
He is preceded in death by his mother and half-brother; Eric Benham.
Cremation has been chosen at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
