Debbie Phelps, age 62, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at U of L Hospital in Louisville. Born June 11, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Joan Baxter.
Debbie was a veteran of the United States Army, and loved to study genealogy.
Debbie is survived by her children: Rebecca Gibson and Charleston Baxter; bonus daughters: Lisa Griewisch, and Jamie Sowder; and 1 brother, Dennis Baxter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Joan Baxter; and 1 brother, Larry Baxter.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, at 6 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home - Salem Chapel. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 27, from 5 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
