Daniel R Girod, age 27, of Salem, died May 18, 2012. He was born on October 11, 1984 in Bowling Green Missouri. Parents Reuben E Girod and Katie Mae (Yoder) Girod survive. On June 8, 2007 he married Margaret (Yoder) Girod, she survives. He was a Farmer and did construction work. Other survivors include all grandparents: David and Mary Yoder of Fancy Farms, Kentucky, Enos and Fannie Girod of Salem,Indiana, Eli and Barbara Yoder of Fort Scott Kansas, Willard and Katie Borntrager of Bowling Green, Missouri; 3 daughters, Elizabeth, Rosina and Katie Girod; 8 brothers, Twin David (Mandy), Enos (Susie), Joseph (Rebecca), Benjamin (Bertha), Pete, Eli, Jacob and Reuben Girod Jr.; 3 sisters, Mary (Phineas) Schmidt, Elizabeth and Katie Girod; 2 nephews and 1 niece; father and mother in law, Chris and Elizabeth Yoder and family from Ft. Scott, Kansas. Proceded in death by: 1 son, Joseph Girod, he died on July 11, 2008. The funeral service will be at the family residence on New Philadelphia Road East of Canton.
