Crystal Jean Boes

Crystal Jean Boes, age 40, of Salem passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital.  Born April 12, 1981 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Gary Drake and Donna (Buckler) Hebner.

Crystal was a homemaker, devoted to her family, and graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix receiving Associates Degrees in psychology and business.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Lee Boes, Jr; mother, Donna Hebner; father, Gary Drake, and step-mother, Shelia Drake; 4 children: Whitney Boes (Caleb Willhoite), Bailey Boes, Jack Buckler-Boes, and Sydney Boes; 1 sister: Jackie Mayden; 1 step-brother: Todd Anderson; 1 step-sister: LeAnne Wooldridge; grandparents: Clyde "Eddie" Lewellyn and Barbara Buckler-Lewellyn; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by grandparents: Warren Drake, Jack Buckler, and Ellamae Snodgrass.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Pekin Chapel.  Visitation will from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
