Charlene A (Pixley) Bryant

Charlene A. Pixley Bryant, age 91, of Borden, passed away on December 5, 2017 at the Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, Indiana. Born on April 5, 1926 in Pekin, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Arthur & Mary Mahuron Pixley. Charlene was a homemaker and dedicated christian. Survivors include 5 daughters, Juanita Fultz, Donna Downs, Linda Kearney, Corina Glass & Naomi Eve; 2 brothers, "Pete" Pixley & Jesse Pixley; sister, Virgie Foster Jones; 13 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren & 7 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles W. Bryant; son, Cisco N. Bryant; daughter, Carolyn Harmon; 2 brothers & 5 sisters. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Pekin. Viewing will be 5-9 PM Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Bryant Cemetery in Gerald, Indiana. Jesse B. Glass will officiate.
