Cecil Ray Bobo

Cecil Ray Bobo, age 69, Of Pekin, Indiana, died June 22, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on May 30, 1943, he was the son of the late George Waldo Bobo and Dorothy Ruth (Nelson) Bobo. He was married for 48 1/2 years to Phyllis Jean (Marshall) Bobo, she survives, they were married on December 20, 1963. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 41 and the V.F.W. He was retired from E.I. Dupont Co. Other survivors include; 3 sons, Mark (Andrea) Bobo of Pekin, Timothy (Christy) Bobo of Pekin, Steven R. (Amanda) Bobo of Stuttgart, Arkansas; 2 brothers, William (Gail) Bobo of Salem, Daniel (Marleen) Bobo of Gaithersburg, Maryland; 1 sister, Paula Kay Minton of Salem; 5 grandchildren, Mark Jr, Matthew, Sara, Skylar and Cathern Bobo; 1 great grandchild, Ayden Mattox Bobo Proceded in death by 1 brother. The funeral service will be Saturday at 5 PM at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home, Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Friday and Saturday from 3 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
