Carolyn Louise (Mulvaney) Ellison

Carolyn Louise Ellison, age 78, of Campbellsburg passed away Wednesday November 25, 2015 at the Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Carolyn was born on September 30, 1937 in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was a retired clerk with Prudential Insurance with over 30 years of service. Survivors include: 3 sons, Mike Lanham of Salem, Ron Ellison (Wendy) of Wisconsin, and Josh Ellison (Amanda) of Lafayette, Indiana; 4 daughters, Debbie Hassler (Ty) of Campbellsburg, Edith Sutcliff of Hardinsburg, Brenda English (Mark) of Illinois, and Brenda Ann Farr of Wisconsin; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents, Jesse Mulvaney and Lillian (Lucas) Greer; husband, Robert L. Ellison; 2 sons, 1 brother and 2 sisters. The funeral service will be Sunday at 11:00 AM at the Posey Chapel Church. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Saturday at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem and Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Posey Chapel Cemetery.
