Carl E. Baird, age 66 of Corydon Indiana, passed away on March 24, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. Born on June 16, 1952, he was the son of the late Ray Baird and Shirley (May) Baird.
Carl was self employed. He enjoyed farming. He was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Jean (Rusk) Pate-Baird; son, Jason Baird (Heather); daughter, Kelly Baird; 2 step sons, William Pate (Karen), and Jerry Pate; 2 step daughters, Misty Pate, and Mandy Clark (Andy); 2 brothers, Paul Edward Baird and Kevin Baird; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
