Bonnita E. Wineinger, age 82, of Salem, passed away on November 1, 2015 at the Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Born on March 29, 1933 in Surprise, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Robert Dewey Allman and Della (Colvin) Allman.
Bonnita was a member of the Life Tabernacle Church in Salem. She was a homemaker, and volunteered at the Care Pregnancy Center in Salem.
Survivors include: son, Rodney (Rose) Wineinger of Salem; brother, Raymond "Tiny" Allman of Seymour; grandson, Jonathan (Amber) Wineinger; 2 great grandchildren, Reece Wineinger and Reagan Wineinger.
Preceded in death by: husband, Rev. Millard Wineinger; brother, Robert "Bob" Allman.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Life Tabernacle Church in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem, and from 11:00 AM Wednesday until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Donald Wineinger will officiate.
