Betty Jane Wilson

Betty J. Wilson, 85, of Salem, died Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her daughter's residence, a Nashville address in Brown County, Indiana.

She was born March 30, 1936 to James and Essie (Hedrick) Boling in Orleans, Indiana.

Betty married Wayne Wilson on January 3, 1953 and they had five children.

She was previously employed at Salem Poultry, LeWeb Industries, several local restaurants, and was a homemaker.

Betty is survived by daughters, Marceda A. Burger, Sherry L. (Steve) Garloch, both of Salem, and Melissa J. (Ronnie) Woodward of Nashville; son, Kent (Shawna) Wilson of Seymour; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Marceda Newton; and brother, Howard Boling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jimmy W. Wilson, son-in-law, Richard Burger, and six brothers: James, Charles, Marvin, Billy, Norman,and Robert Boling.

A private burial will be at Peugh Cemetery in Salem; Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
