Barbara J. (Schwartz) Hilty

Barbara J. Hilty, age 37, of Salem, died on March 21, 2013 at the Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Indiana. Born on February 12, 1976 in Bluffton, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jacob F. Schwartz and Mary S. Schwartz both of Salem. On June 13, 1996 she married Jonathan L. Hilty who survives. Other survivors include: 7 sons, David L. Hilty, Marvin L. Hilty, Joseph L. Hilty, Victor L. Hilty, John L. Hilty, Lucas L. Hilty and new born son yet to be named, all from Salem; 4 daughters, Roseann L. Hilty, Elizabeth L. Hilty, Ruby L. Hilty and Susan L. Hilty all from Salem;3 brothers, Samuel J. Schwartz, Amos J. Schwartz and David J. Swartz all from Salem; 4 sisters, Christine J. Schmidt, Lizzie J. Eicher, Susan J. Girod and Verena J. Byler all from Salem; 1 grandmother, Lizzie N. Schwartz. The funeral service will be Monday at the family residence on Walker Road near Salem. Burial will be at the East Salem Amish Cemetery.
