Archie Lee Jones

Archie Lee Jones, age 72, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on January 6, 2015 at the Meadow View Health and Rehab Center in Salem. Born on April 2, 1942 in Paoli, Indiana, he was the son of the late Leland Archie Jones and Cleo Mae Jones. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Salem. He was Pentecostal in faith. Survivors include: 2 sons, Robert Daniel Jones and Eric Scott Jones, both of Salem; 1 daughter, Betty Michelle Jones of Salem; 4 brothers, Chester Jones of Indianapolis, Steve Jones of Paoli, Donald Jones of Scottsburg, and Ronald Jones of Salem; 3 sisters, Barbara Jones McCawley of Columbus Indiana, Helen Jones Brading of Henryville, and Betty Mishelle Lewellyn of Paoli; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; caregiver, Kimberley Bradley of Salem; ex-wife Thelma Jones Snelling of Salem. Preceded in death by: parents, 1 grandson Henry Michael Deaton. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem.
