Annette Kalich

Annette Joan Kalich, age 77 of Pekin, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. Born July 18, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Castle and Lucille (McKee) Castle.

Annette worked for General Motors in Detroit Michigan. After her marriage to Robert, she worked from home and enjoyed taking care of her family. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and reading in her spare time while listening to the oldie's music.

She is survived by 3 children, Melinda Parry, Michelle Schear and Dottie Faye Cowell; 1 sister: Sharon Kay Moenaert; 8 grandchildren: Nickolas Brinker, Lydia Wimberley, John Wayne Wimberley III, Ashely Grauling, Alecia Williams, Quentin Schear, Anthony Schear and Brooke Schear and 2 great grandchildren, Ariel Williams and Fallon Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kalich; parents and 1 brother, Paul Castle.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be on Tuesday from Noon until the time of Service at the Funeral home.
