Annetta Janice Hunt

Annetta Janice Hunt, age 75, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away Monday February 4, 2019 at her residence. Born on July 21, 1943 in Hobbs, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson Havens and Ethel Louise Nixon Havens.

Janice was a retired RN with Floyd County Hospital with 27 years of service. She was a member of Conway Community Church in South Boston.

She is survived by 4 children, Anita Marlene Sears (Eddie), Marley Joe Hunt (Greg Noel), Karen Hunt, and Michael Hunt; 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marley Jessie Hunt; son, Roger Hunt; 9 brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery. Nick Roe will officiate.
