Anna "Dottie" Bierly

Anna Dorthy "Dottie Bierly, age 96, of Borden, Indiana, passed away Thursday February 7, at Wedgewood Healthcare in Clarksville. Born on August 29, 1922 in Lincoln Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Anna Scheirman.

Dottie was retired from Kimball's Office Furniture in Borden with over 40 years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Borden.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenna Newby of Henryville, Indian; 3 grandsons, Gray Burns, Gregory Burns, and Aaron (Tami) Newby; 7 great grandchildren, Victoria, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Shelly, Daton, Jordan and Asia.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Leo Bierly; son-in-law, Larry E. Newby.

The funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 AM at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6 PM, and Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Pastor Bruce Kischaick will officiate.
