Alisha (Buchanan) Tye

Alisha Tye, age 35, formerly of Salem Indiana, passed away on Sunday May 1, 2016. She was born on October 29, 1980 in Salem, Indiana. Survivors include: 3 daughters, Destiny Tye and Nichole Tye both of Salem, and Sumer Cornett of Manchester, Kentucky; mother, Debra Irwin of Florida; grandparents, Dale and Marie Irwin of Campbellsburg; 2 brothers, Dwayne Buchanan Jr. of New Albany, and Jeremy Buchanan of Georgia. Preceded in death by: father, Dwayne Buchanan Sr. A Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 PM Thursday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Rick El-Talabani will officiate. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home. www.hughestaylor.net
