Alan Dean Carter

Alan Dean Carter, age 52 of Borden Indiana, passed away on July 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born on February 25, 1964 in Salem Indiana. Alan was a member of the Borden Church of Christ and a member of the Borden Lions Club. He was previously employed at PC Lumber in New Albany. Survivors include his wife, Donna F. (Pellman) Carter of Borden; son, Justin Alan Carter of Borden; daughter Amanda "Mandy" Goetz & husband Darren of Sellersburg; brother, Brent W. Carter & wife Chau of Borden; sister, Theresa Newlon & husband Roger of Pekin; 3 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Wesley Carter and Virginia Ann (Burgan) Carter. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Borden Church of Christ. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Friday at the Borden Church of Christ and Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
